Luis Francisco de Lope Alonso
Chairman
Managing Director for the Aqualia International Business. He has been working for Aqualia since 1993, being in charge of several posts of major responsibility. He has launched the acquisition of several companies merging in Aqualia. He led the development of the Aqualia in new countries (MENA, LATAM and Europe) and new activities (BOT and EPC). Highly qualified Mining Engineer with PhD from both Madrid and Paris School of Mines and holds a degree in Business Studies.

José Enrique Bofill Maestre
Deputy Chairman
José Enrique Bofill Maestre holds the position of a Regional Director of Aqualia MENA & Asia. He joined Aqualia in 1994 and has dedicated his entire career to the water industry, held numerous executive positions in the technical and business development areas. He participated in the implementation of top of the line water, wastewater, desalination and reuse projects in Spain and other countries. Holds an MSc degree in Civil Engineering.

Isidoro Antonio Marbán Fernández
Member
Isidoro Antonio Marbán Fernández is a CFO of Aqualia. He started in the Department of Economic Control of Construcciones y Contratas SA and has gone through the areas of Construction and Environment (National and International). Holds Degree in Economics and Business Administration from the Autonomous University of Madrid.

Irakli Gilauri
Member
Formerly CEO of BGEO Group since 2011, joined as CFO of Bank of Georgia in 2004. Mr Gilauri was appointed Chairman of the Bank in September 2015, having previously served as CEO of the Bank since May 2006. Up to 20 years of experience in the banking, investment and finance. Prior, he was EBRD (European Bank for Reconstruction and Development) banker. Over the last decade, Irakli’s leadership has been instrumental in creating major players in a number of Georgian industries, including banking, healthcare, utilities and energy, real estate, insurance and wine. Holds an MS in banking from CASS Business School.

Avtandil Namicheishvili

In addition to his deputy CEO role at Georgia Capital, Avto also serves as a chairman of the Group’s water utility, renewable energy and beverages businesses. Formerly he was BGEO Group General Counsel. Joined as a General Counsel at the Bank of Georgia in 2007, and has since played a key role in all of the Group’s equity and debt raises on the capital markets, and over 25 mergers and acquisitions. Prior, was a Partner at a leading Georgian law firm. Holds LL.M. in international business law from Central European University, Hungary.

José Miguel Santos González
CEO
José Miguel Santos González joined GGU in Feb 2022. He has more than 20 years of experience in the water sector having held numerous executive positions within the technical and business development departments. He joined Aqualia in 1997, and currently he is in charge of the business development and the projects management of Aqualia in UAE. José Miguel Santos González is also an industrial engineer and EXMBA by Instituton de Empresa business school (IE, Madrid).

Giorgi Gureshidze
CFO
Giorgi Gureshidze has served as a member of the executive management team since 2020. Mr. Gureshidze joined GGU in March 2017 as an investment analyst. In March 2019, he became head of the Business Development department. Before joining GGU, Giorgi worked at the Investor Relations department of JSC TBC Bank, one of the leading banks in Georgia. He holds a Bachelor degree in Economics from Yale University.

Jaba Mamulashvili
Chief Legal Officer
Joined GGU in February 2016. Before joining GGU he held a position of a partner at Begiashvili & Co. Limited, one of the leading Georgian law firms. Jaba specializes in commercial law and has a notable experience in equity investments, corporate and project financing, etc. Holds a master’s degree in International Business Law from University of Manchester.

Irakli Babukhadia
Head of water business
Joined GGU in 2015 as chief commercial officer. He has an extensive experience in financial and commercial business consulting. Previously held numerous executive positions in Georgian and international companies such as Tetra Tech, PA Consulting, Energo-Pro Georgia. Holds a BBA degree in International Business Law from Tbilisi State University.

Pere Sala Padrós
Chief Technical Officer of Water Business
Pere Sala Padrós joined GGU in 2022. Has more than 25 of experience in water business management. He is a manager with proven experience in the technical and operational field of the Water Utilities Companies. Held executive positions Sociedad General de Aguas de Barcelona (AGBAR). Pere Sala Padrós Holds dual qualification in Chemical and Industrial Engineering from IQS Barcelona.
